On 30 September 2024, the municipal re-match of Liaocheng City Health Science Popularisation Works Innovation and Creativity Competition was held in Gaotang County, Liaocheng City, and a team of Deng Lijun from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Rehabilitation, Li Yayun from the First Ward of the Department of Cardiology, and Qin Zhiying from the Department of Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery of the hospital participated in the competition.

Each team firstly took the theoretical examination, and our team passed the examination with solid professional knowledge. In the on-site popularisation video presentation, the comedy piece ‘Chinese Medicine Funny Talk’ brought by Deng Lijun and Zhang Fengfeng from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Rehabilitation of the Hospital became the focus of the whole audience. The two members of the team sang and sang together, the wonderful words, with witty language, relaxed atmosphere interpretation of Chinese medicine characteristics of gua sha this ancient technique of unique charm. The wonderful performance was well received by the audience and the judges, and it also gave everyone a deep and interesting knowledge of Chinese medicine. Finally, our hospital entered the group final with the third place in the total score.

After many rounds of questions and answers and layers of tests, our hospital team won the third prize of the group with its excellent performance and finally won the third prize of the group with outstanding results. Li Yayun of Cardiology Ward 1 won the individual second prize, Deng Lijun of TCM Rehabilitation Department won the individual third prize, and Qin Zhiying of Thoracic Surgery Department won the individual excellence prize. This achievement not only reflects the hospital's great attention and active commitment to health science popularisation, but also demonstrates the excellent professionalism and innovative ability of medical and nursing staff.
