In order to further promote the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation, care for the health of the elderly, popularize the knowledge of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis prevention and treatment, and improve the self-care awareness and health literacy of the whole population, in the Chinese traditional festival of Chung Yeung Festival is approaching; on the morning of October 22nd, our rheumatology and immunology medical and nursing staff came to Bajiao Road Center for the elderly to carry out the activities of education and charity clinic.

At the activity site, Director Chen Meipu explained the importance of paying attention to osteoarthritis, and Deputy Director Pan Tong introduced in detail the hazards of osteoporosis and the knowledge of prevention and treatment, and reminded everyone to pay attention to the disease and care for their health. Afterwards, the medical staff measured the blood pressure for the elderly friends one by one, answered questions, taught simple and easy-to-learn joint health exercises, and trained the nursing staff on the Heimlich maneuver.
   The activity of free blood pressure testing more than 80 people, more than 100 people, so that the elderly people effectively benefit, received unanimous praise from the public.
