In order to actively play the professional and technical advantages and leading role in the development of medical association, and to strengthen the capacity building of primary health institutions, in the afternoon of 16th July 2024, the Department of Neurology and Thoracic Surgery of the Medical Department of the hospital invited the Department of Neurology and Thoracic Surgery to carry out the activity of ‘Hundred Years of Hospitals, Guardian for You’ in Wangguanzhuang Health Hospital of Qinghe County.
Dr Wang Xinzhi, Deputy Chief Physician of Department of Neurology and Surgery, introduced the basic knowledge, skills and methods of carotid artery stenosis treatment, as well as the indications of carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting, and elaborated the early diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis, accurate assessment and comprehensive intervention strategies with clinical cases. Finally, the early diagnosis and treatment of smog disease were introduced to everyone to improve their knowledge of smog disease.

Dr Ma Junjie, Associate Chief Physician of Thoracic Surgery, gave a talk on the topic of "Lung nodules,
not tangled", on the topic of "What are lung nodules? How did they get here? Why are there more of
them all of a sudden? How far are lung nodules from lung cancer? Which ones need surgery?"
He gave a detailed and easy-to-understand talk on the issues of concern to everyone.
By holding the knowledge seminar, we further strengthened the connection between our hospital and
primary hospitals, gave full play to the radiation and driving role of our hospital as a regional medical
centre, and improved the professional knowledge of primary medical staff on related diseases.
