In order to further enhance the popularity of daily first aid knowledge and strengthen the awareness and ability of self-rescue and mutual aid in daily life, on the afternoon of January 15, Zhang Mei, Liang Ya and Zhao Xin from the operating room of the hospital went into the fourth class of the sixth grade of Linqing Experimental Primary School to carry out a popularization class of the medical first aid knowledge of the “Heimlich maneuver”.

   The Heimlich Maneuver was invented by Mr. Heimlich, an American doctor, and it is one of the world's most recognized and effective resuscitation methods, also known as the “embrace of life”. Mr. Zhao Xin explained to the students the operation of Heimlich's first aid and the precautions to be taken in an easy-to-understand language. Liang Ya demonstrated the decomposition of the action, and then guided the students to think actively and participate actively in the way of “one question, one answer”.

  Activities also arranged for the students on the stage practical exercises, rich and vivid missionary approach harvested applause and unanimous praise. Zhangmei guided them hand in hand, correcting their irregular movements to ensure effective rescue. Through interactive experience, hands-on practice, action correction, so that everyone more deeply mastered the Heimlich maneuver.

  Through vivid and diverse forms of popularization of science, this activity presents first aid knowledge in a way that is easy for students to understand and integrates professional knowledge into their lives, and teachers and students all said that they have benefited a lot.
