Note to Ward Physicians

For insured patients who need to be hospitalized, after verifying their identities, a “Notice of Hospitalization for Insurance Participation” will be issued in duplicate, and they will be instructed to go to the hospital's medical insurance center to go through the examination and registration procedures. After being admitted to the department, the receiving physician and the physician in charge will verify the identity again and notify the medical insurance office if there is any discrepancy. Patients who are admitted to the hospital in emergency, continuous shift, night shift, or who do not bring their enrollment certificates should urge their family members to make up for the procedures of medical insurance or Nonghyup within 24 hours, and maintain the medical insurance or Nonghyup on the microcomputer in the first place.

During the hospitalization, the first choice of Class A drugs is strictly in accordance with the Catalogue of Drugs for Medical Insurance. When the condition requires the use of drugs outside the catalog, they must be used with the consent of the insured patients and the signing of the “self-financing agreement”, one copy of which is stored in the medical record and the other one is given to the patient.

If patients with medical insurance and urban residents need to use large-scale instrument examination, disposable materials and blood products that cost 500 yuan or more, they should first fill in the corresponding approval form and use them after being approved by the hospital's medical insurance office and the city's medical insurance office; if it is really a case of emergency and critical illness that needs to rescue the patient, the patient can use them first and then make up for the relevant formalities on the following day, and bring the relevant materials with him/her when applying for the procedure.

Patients are informed that they cannot be hospitalized (including going home after infusion), and they cannot leave the hospital area without authorization, and that they must obtain the consent of the physician and inform the nurse on duty of the specific direction of their activities within the hospital for a short period of time.

Insured patients are generally discharged from the hospital with no more than seven days' worth of medication.

When patients are discharged from the hospital, they should inform their family members to go to the medical insurance center with the discharge certificate and relevant documents for audit and settlement, and then go to the hospitalization office for reimbursement.

For patients with single disease under the Agricultural Cooperative Medical Insurance Program, single disease maintenance must be carried out on the microcomputer to ensure that the single disease is charged at a limited price.
