The gospel of femoral head necrosis patients -----walk the whole world

  The Department of Orthopaedics of our hospital and Linqing Charity Federation jointly carried out the activity of “Walking for Health” to provide assistance to patients with necrosis of the femoral head from poor families to cover the cost of surgery. Necrosis of the femoral head is a kind of intractable disease, with heavy condition, long course and high treatment cost, which causes many patients to be poor due to the disease, and patients from poor families are even unable to afford the treatment. In order to carry forward the traditional virtues of helping the poor and needy, to help poor families with necrosis of the femoral head through surgical artificial joint replacement as soon as possible to restore the ability to work, by the Linqing Charity Federation decided to March 20, 2012 in the city-wide implementation of poor families with necrosis of the femoral head patients rescue program.

  A rescue object

The rescue objects are urban and rural low-income families and marginal low-income families recognized by the Civil Affairs Bureau with Linqing City household registration who have participated in the basic medical insurance for urban residents and the new rural cooperative medical insurance, and the patients with necrosis of the femoral head who have been diagnosed by hospitals to be eligible for surgery, and the rescue will be provided for 30 cases each year.

  II Rescue standard and settlement method

After the reimbursement of medical expenses of poor patients with necrosis of the femoral head who have undergone surgery in our hospital by medical insurance or new rural cooperative medical insurance, the Charity Federation will provide assistance according to the standard of 10,000 yuan for each surgical family, and the assistance expenses will be advanced by our hospital first.

  Application and Approval Procedures

(A) apply for medical aid for necrosis of the femoral head, patients need to go to our hospital for surgical examination and validation by themselves, and the hospital will issue a certificate of diagnosis of consent to surgery for those who are determined to meet the surgical indications.

(b) The patient submits his/her personal application to the town (office) where his/her household registration is located, a copy of his/her ID card and household registration index, a copy of his/her low income guarantee and medical guarantee, and a diagnosis certificate of consent to surgery. Upon receipt of his/her application, the town (office) will organize two to three staff members to conduct a preliminary check of the applicant's eligibility for assistance, sign a review opinion on the ones that meet the conditions for assistance, and fill in the “Approval Form for Medical Assistance for Impoverished Necrotic Deaths of the Femoral Head Patients in Linqing City (in duplicate), and submit the above materials to the Municipal Charity Federation for approval.

(C) After the approval of the municipal Charity Federation, the approval will be sent back to the civil affairs office of the town (office), and the civil affairs office of the town (office) will be responsible for notifying the applicant to undergo the surgery in our hospital.
