Our teleconsultation office is one of the key disciplines under the personal deployment and guidance of Wang Guanghua, secretary of the Party committee and president, and under the direct leadership of Liu Yaosen, vice president, with high standard design, high starting point requirements, large expansion space, and a set of teleconsultation, remote checkups, remote monitoring, network education, in-hospital consultation, and out-of-hospital booking accompanied by the integration of comprehensive disciplines in order to improve the overall diagnostic and treatment level of our hospitals.

    The teleconsultation office is located on the north side of the 16th floor of the Internal Medicine Complex, equipped with medical monitor imaging workstations; high-definition video terminals, which can achieve high-quality voice and video effects. Dedicated 2-megabit network broadband to achieve face-to-face exchanges and communication with the experts of the Provincial Hospital, through the reading of the consultation patient's identity card can automatically obtain the patient's information, medical records, image data, through dual-stream technology to achieve real-time transmission of the consultation, the experts fully understand the patient's condition, the development of interactive discussions, debatable treatment options.

    It also has remote education, remote pathology consultation and other components of the interactive remote consultation platform.

    Remote Consultation: Now it is opened with Provincial Hospital and Beijing 301 Hospital Telemedicine Centre, and it is planned to be networked with many hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai to carry out clinical and imaging consultation, remote check-up, remote monitoring and remote network education, with the ultimate goal of becoming a member of the International Consultation Centre. A team is established with specialists responsible for making advance appointments with higher-level hospitals for registration and hospitalisation. Special needs patients are specially accompanied to Jinan, Beijing, Shanghai and other hospitals.

    Intra-hospital consultation: Establish a pool of experts in our hospital according to specialties, set up full-time experts and part-time experts, according to the condition of the full-time experts to organise personnel to participate in the consultation, discuss the diagnosis, and formulate the treatment plan.

    The use of in-hospital consultation + remote consultation realises one-stop and timely solution to the diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of acute and critical illnesses, difficult and complicated cases, reflecting the highest diagnosis and treatment level of the hospital as a whole, so that the patients can get timely and effective diagnosis and treatment.

    Remote network education: the use of telemedicine technology to organise good in-hospital physicians and further training, internship, general practitioner training work, mobilising all departments to actively participate in telemedicine service work. The Department of Science and Education organises the whole staff to make use of telemedicine network education according to their specialties and levels, and carries out continuing medical education projects and includes them in the assessment of continuing education credits in the hospital.
