At 2:00 pm on October 31, 2018, a group of experts appointed by the National Cerebral Defense Committee, consisting of Prof. Hui Pinjing, Director of Cervical and Cerebrovascular Ultrasound Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, Prof. Li Xiaobo, Director of the Department of Neurology of the People's Hospital of North Jiangsu Province, Prof. Cai Xioying, Deputy Director of the Department of Neurology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, Prof. Zhen Yong, Deputy Director of the Department of Neurosurgery of the People's Hospital of North Jiangsu Province, and Prof. Qu Huaqian of the People's Hospital of Liaocheng City, carried out an on-site evaluation on Our hospital conducted an on-site review of the prevention and treatment work of national advanced stroke center.

   Zhang Xin, Secretary of Party Committee of the hospital, Liu Yuesen, Vice President of the hospital, Zhang Tiezheng, Assistant President of the hospital, Wang Pingfan and Zhang Wei, Deputy Directors of the Management Committee of the South Hospital District, Tai Jie, Director of the Department of Medical Affairs, Meng Fanwen, Director of the Department of Neurology, and representatives of all relevant departments attended the evaluation meeting.
   The meeting was presided over by Vice President Liu Yuesen. At the meeting, Zhang Xin, Secretary of Party Committee, delivered a welcome speech. On behalf of the hospital, Secretary Zhang expressed a warm welcome to the experts of the National Cerebral Defense Committee, briefly introduced the development history of the hospital and the course and effectiveness of the construction of the Advanced Stroke Center, and emphasized the significance and importance of the construction of the Advanced Stroke Center, hoping that the experts would give us their advice, give us more valuable opinions and point out the shortcomings so that our hospital could reach a new level and have greater development in stroke prevention and treatment and better benefit the people.    After that, Prof. Hui Pinjing of National Cerebral Defense Commission briefly explained the significance of building a national advanced stroke center, the on-site verification process and requirements; Zhang Tiezheng, assistant to the president of the hospital and director of the medical department, reported on the construction of the advanced stroke center of the hospital, reporting in detail from the aspects of hospital overview, the construction of the base for screening and prevention of stroke, the construction of the advanced stroke center, the development planning and the self-assessment report, etc. After the report, the expert group made an on-site assessment of the hospital and the construction of the center. After the report, the expert group reviewed the relevant documents and materials of the Advanced Stroke Center on the spot.
   During the inspection, the expert group followed up the whole green channel of the hospital, and then the experts went to the Emergency Center, CT Room, ICU, Neurosurgery Department and Comprehensive Internal Medicine Department according to the division of labor to verify the construction and actual operation of the Stroke Center on the spot, to know in detail about the reception and treatment of each link, and at the same time, asked the medical staffs about the relevant questions about the diagnosis and treatment of strokes.
After the verification and analysis by the expert group, the expert group combined the previous work with the on-site verification and gave the feedback to the leadership of the hospital. The experts highly affirmed the capacity of emergency department and neurosurgery department of the hospital in diagnosis and treatment of acute and critical illnesses, and the effect of continuous improvement, which had achieved remarkable results and had more highlights, meanwhile, the experts also put forward the improvement opinions, and exchanged and discussed the related issues, hoping that the stroke center of the hospital would further check the defects and make up for the shortcomings, make continuous improvement, and continuously improve the capacity and level of stroke treatment.
   Finally, Secretary Zhang made a statement, thanking the expert group for their guidance and help in the construction of the stroke center, and said that the hospital would continue to improve the deficiencies, optimize the process, and collaborate closely according to the experts' requirements on the basis of this foundation, so as to make the stroke center more perfect and the stroke screening work more detailed, and to make new and greater contributions to the protection of the lives and health of the people in the border area of Jiluyu and Henan Province.
