The department was established in the beginning of 2012, formerly known as Dongsan Department of Cardiology, with 49 beds, is one of the largest clinical departments in the hospital, is a characteristic specialty of Shandong Province municipal hospitals, Liaocheng City key disciplines, and has a high influence and popularity in northwestern Shandong Province. Coronary angiography, coronary stenting, complex coronary stenting, aortic balloon counterpulsation, radiofrequency ablation for paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, typical atrial flutter, permanent pacemaker implantation, pulmonary arteriography and dilatation, implantation of inferior vena cava filter, and dilatation of renal artery stenosis are all carried out independently.
