The ECT purchased by our hospital is SPECT, which is produced by American GE company, and its principle is to introduce the trace radioactive tracer with certain physiological and biochemical characteristics into the body, and use the special probe to investigate the dynamic or static distribution of nuclides in the target organ in the outside of the body, and then form the image after processing by computer. It has the advantages of early diagnosis, convenient and non-invasive, targeting, safety and reliability, quantitative analysis, whole-body imaging, functional imaging, and synchronization of diagnosis and treatment, etc. It is widely used in the diagnosis of bones and various organs of the whole body of the human body, etc. It is especially effective in the diagnosis of the skeletal system, pulmonary embolism, kidneys, thyroid gland, digestive tract, and cardiovascular system. It can reconstruct multi-dimensional spatial images, such as: cross-section, coronal plane, sagittal plane, oblique plane and so on. It can intuitively observe the blood flow, function, metabolism, and even molecular level information of organs or lesions, which is of great practical value for the diagnosis of diseases, staging of tumor course, treatment plan, prognosis assessment, and efficacy follow-up.
